No, I understand the mechanics, I don't understand the timings, I've parried a few attacks and it didn't look like proper parries to me, they came a bit too early, while if I let the mime attack and parry when I thought made more sense, it hit me.

I will listen to the sounds though, I didn't notice a sound to the attacks that give me parry/dodge hints (outright didn't listen, relied on my eyes).
