I'm not sure it would be easier. My gut says legal nonsense involved for sure, but I think the other routes would take less personal detective work vs requiring a response to a legal complaint.
Either way it's done the effect is still the same, right? That particular part of the social climate makes running anything that even hosts controversial stuff risky. It only takes one weirdo to hate you for any reason to ruin your life or at least make it much more uncomfortable.
It has a chilling effect on speech where I rationally couldn't run such a place where others can post offensive or controversial stuff even if I wanted to without having fuck you money.
I really don't want to live like Null. I don't want to be banned from lots of coding shit like Gleason is. I don't want to be a pariah leftist that can only go on Fox for the past few years like Greenwald because he stayed consistent on disliking US imperialism.
It's frustrating and I don't have any good solution for how the most avid haters of free speech are also the most willing and shameless rabid weaponizers of it. Having been raised as an honest boy, I really never developed whatever defense mechanisms you need to deal with literal shameless liars, and that's what most of politics tends to be because our political system rewards the most shameless liars.
