As a quick tip for shoppers, you might occasionally visit a mapped merchant only to discover the staff on duty has forgotten how to process a BCH transaction. If the owner or manager is not available to fix the setup or join BCHPay, there is unfortunately not much that can be done on the spot to save the audit. To avoid wasted trips and stalled verifications, it is highly recommended to check the Paytaca Map to see if the location has any recent transaction history before traveling, or simply give the business a call ahead of time to confirm their BCH system is active and ready to go.
