WHY WHY WHY can *I* not specify the encryption key for you to use?
Even better, why can't I give you a public key (asymmetric encryption)?
Or you can help my generate a key pair?
And only then when the user does not want to do that, THEN fall back to using my ID/birth-date/account number (all of which are semi public guessable discoverable info anyway).
