On contemporary barbarism:
I saw some kind of right-wing media glorifying a cowboy riding alone etc. Whatever the historical realities of being a cowboy as a job were, this contemporary figure is a figure of barbarism: we are supposed to admire someone who is armed and ready to kill, uneducated, and not organized into any larger group.
Is this an anarchist figure? No it is not. There have been approximately no well-known anarchist cowboys.
