White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is demanding answers after an escalator at the United Nations Headquarters abruptly stopped as President Trump and the First Lady stepped on.
Trump later joked before the General Assembly that all he got from the UN was “a bad escalator and a bad teleprompter,” after both the teleprompter and audio feed also malfunctioned during his remarks.
