The fact we're having this discussion goes to show he wasn't understood clearly at all.

As a fellow autist, I can confirm that misunderstanding the way I speak and otherwise express myself can and will in many situations lead to bad situations that were not intended at all. Its very hard to say the right thing in the right tone at the right time. I think some humanity in this situation would go a long way, don't assume he must be doing or saying things because he's evil.
