The ethical can of worms one opens if we all generally agree we got full sapient AI is huge.
I've wondered about TARS and CASE in the movie "Interstellar" which seemed designed to be fully intelligent and autonomous and to have no survival instinct in service of human commands.
Ethical considerations if one creates an artificial slave race of sentients that want to serve?
Or if we had the choice to make AI capable of feeling pain? Ethical to do so or not?
