Speaking of being a touch deaf
Before I was going to have my spinal surgery, I was taken for MRI scanning.
It was hot & very noisy, so I was given a glass of water & foam earbuds.
I’d been having trouble sleeping with the constant hospital noise, so the earbuds were much appreciated.
I wore the earbuds that night.
The following morning I was woken by 2 very concerned nurses who thought I’d gone into a coma because I wasn’t responding to their calls & were shaking me awake.🤣
