The Landauer principle dictates that erasing information has a mandatory energy cost. It’s a basic and elementary principle of physics you seem to be forgetting.
Applied to Bitcoin, this is the argument for BIP-110: blockspace is a finite physical resource. Storing "arbitrary data" forces nodes to expend energy and hardware capacity for non-monetary purposes. This "bloat" which is being forced onchain from Core, wastes the thermodynamic work securing the network, pushing it toward centralization.
Bitcoin will not survive and come for “quantum bio” if it continues expanding 2-3 gb a week full of non monetary or illicit material… it will go extinct. Just like BSV, BCH and what’s happening to Eth and shitcoins right now that allowed for non monetary data storage and centralization.
