In our humble opinion Nostr is a way better protocol to communicate and exchange information as it's events based and very dynamic. RSS is static content which always needs to be queried and scanned.

We feel that best analogy is that RSS is like posters on street boards, distributed, owned by people but always needs collecting and Nostr Music is more like radio where everyone can tune in. From engineering perspective benefits are vast. In time will see what's best. In the meantime we see if we can combine the two.
