Thomas Braziel, a prominent investor in crypto bankruptcies, is calling for transparency regarding the whereabouts of approximately 1090 BTC previously held by a predecessor to the Cardano Foundation. Braziel cited Isle of Man company registry documents indicating that the Cardano Foundation's antecedent, the Isle of Man Foundation, was established in 2015 during the ICO period, with Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson serving as a supervisor. According to information on the Cardano official website, the foundation received approximately 1090 BTC. As the foundation was dissolved in December 2025, Braziel has requested the disclosure of the BTC's disposition and the foundation's governance documents, emphasizing that this is a request for greater transparency rather than an accusation of wrongdoing. Cardano has not yet responded to these inquiries.
