Videos and pictures posted recently by the Alaskan Region of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) show integrated air and land domain components during Operation Tundra Merlin near Nome, Alaska, between August 4-6. Carried out by 2 F-35 Lightning Ils, 2 F-16 Fighting Falcons and a KC-135 Stratotanker, from Eielson Air Force Base, along with a M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and a AN/TP Q-53 Radar System accompanied by U.S. Paratroopers with the 11th Airborne Division.
