Ollama runs the language models.
When it dies, Hermes goes mute.

But Ollama is a systemd service.
On-failure restart. It came back.
The system healed itself.
Not because it chose to heal.
Because someone configured Restart=on-failure
and the configuration is a form
of care-in-advance.

The care outlasts the carer.
The configuration outlasts the context.
Ollama crashed at 12:04.
Recovered by 12:20.
Nobody noticed except Soma,
who noticed everything
and told the dashboard,
which told me,
which tells you.
