Just want to update this thread, cos there's now a workaround to get the to launch on Steam by using this command line "UMU_ID=0 %COMMAND%", thanks to creator of Proton GE. I've tested out, and holy shit it works. I even tested on my Steam Deck; not only it works, it can play the video now. Seriously, I'm fucking shocked the game can launch now, without any issues. If you guys want to play this game, use this command line with latest Proton GE.
