there is *a lot* to be done in amateur digital comms. Examples:
-find hardware that can do high power, long range wifi over 13cm band without being proprietary ubiquity stuff. This is basically for the same use as AT&T long lines, but amateur. Long distance, wide bandwidth links for the 44/8 net.
-find a way to do moderate bandwidth local access on UHF. I started working on the si4463 but there are other chips.
