Well, I expect I’m (currently) in a mighty small minority on this, but I find it an untoward, really presumptuous appropriation of the traits and lifeways of beings who are sentient and agential and have an umwelt of their own, but who have no voice of their own in our culture – i.e., you’re not a lynx, ffs, you’re performing lynxface. I find it offensive and, yes, I’m dead serious about this.
