Good question. If you value your sovereignty and never want someone else to be BigMilan. You can’t rotate an nsec, once it leaks it’s theirs forever.
Most people paste theirs into every new client they try. Nobody’s hunting nsecs yet because the network is small, but by the time they are it’s too late to un-paste. With the KEY it never leaves the hardware, clients just ask it to sign.
On top of that whoever owns your Nostr keys owns your DMs. Our ecosystem goes a step further with DMs too. When using our app yout DMs stay encrypted when your signer is locked. So even someone unlocking your phone gets only cipher text.
