Students in Bangladesh protested so that some corrupt government ministers would step down. Rather than listen, the government escalated. They should’ve listened. Because now Bangladesh needs a new president. Very quickly, a successful coup led by the people happened.
I hope US leaders are taking notes. Government functions when the people agree to it. Americans want Medicare for all and an end to the goddamn wars. We want a green economy, not a military industrial complex economy.
