Ugh yeah, I used to use OpenNoteScanner for years, enjoying the ability for it to fix the skew on a rectangular slip of paper from some shaky angles. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find anything in any F-Droid repos that take its place since the OS version boundary.
All the ones that look promising seem to be remote clients for networked flatbed scanners...
