Tonight I had the most beautiful reminder of what can happen when things in life don’t go as planned. I was too tired to do what I’d planned (drive more hours), so I changed it up and stayed somewhere else.
I went for a wee wander to see the night sky and came across an old man in a cowboy hat playing harmonica by a fire under the stars. The moon was bright, the stars were shining, the fire was warm, the music had me swaying… and I know it made his night, just my showing up.
