I doesn't make me better than everyone else. I appreciate the beauty and diversity of the human race. I could have been Brown or Black, and that would have been OK as well.

But those in power use these things to abuse others. You're from Europe. You know very well how the White people of Europe have caused all the atrocities we see today, starting with the Age of Colonialism and Slavery and going all the way to Hitler and World War II.

Being White doesn't make you wrong, of course not. But it doesn't make anyone special, either.

But unless we address this issue, unless we normalise and trivialise these things, the cycle of abuse cannot be broken.
