In the 90s there was a movie called Hackers...from which came many quotes, including "Hack the Planet". The denouement has white hat hackers from across the globe detonating the kernel of a supercomputer called The Gibson (an easter egg referencing Gibson engine), which has been commandeered by a black hat hacker.
Thus...better than hitting the gibson. :)
