Israeli settlers who raided Khirbet Humsa in the northern Jordan Valley carried out a severe sexual assault against a man in front of his family, witnesses said.

They also beat girls and teenagers, while one attacker threatened to kill the children and rape the women. Six people, including two human rights activists, were taken for medical treatment, and Haaretz reported that the Shin Bet is investigating.

Residents said dozens of masked settlers stormed the community around 1 a.m., splitting into small groups and attacking homes for about an hour.
