Ours is the EB5 and it's like a million bucks and you have to start a business and then you can apply for a green card and then citizenship. This one simply ditches the business aspect and sells a greencard outright.
And 5 million isn't going to do shit with our deficit. Like, nothing at all. The entire purpose of this type of visa was to get investment into the economy, not "give me the money so I can spend it on tax breaks for billionaires", which is exactly what this bullshit is.
