The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad has released a statement offering up to a $10 million reward for information on Haydar Muzhir Ma'lak al-Sa'idi, the Secretary General of Harakat Ansar Allah al-Awfiya (HAAA), an Iranian-backed militia group in Iraq. The U.S. has increasingly pressured the Iraqi government to reign in such groups as the Iraqi government faces an impasse over the formation of a government, as they struggle to balance both Iranian and U.S. interests within the country.
