Can we talk about zapping ?
I haven't been zapped since wos left. I'm still looking for a simple reliable and inexpensive way to open a channel on lightning specifically for zapping.
The biggest zapped post this week was Peter Todd 10k sats talking about the new law passed against fake reviews. But he may have zapped his own message to be meta. So the question is, zapping working-_-? Is zapping really fullfilling its promise ? Like from the lightning stand point as it stands today lighting is only important to VC backed Enterprise users like ZBD and such. Of course I know lightning is helping ppl on board in a simple way all around the planet but they really dont own those sats right ? BC they have to take that in a best case scenario let's say they saved up 100,000 sats from the small biz now they have seen the number jumping around and they want cold storage now when realistically what's the fees gonna cost? Its a lot of jumps loops and hoops and its lost that magic internet Allure. Will cashu mints be able to fix this ? Will bitaxe fix this? Will fedi fix this? Will op_cat fix this? Long story short I need my family around the world to be able to click buttons exclusive on there cellphone/laptop and be in full control of utxo. 1℅ fees are fine but anything north of 10% means big trouble. This shit is complicated AF.
