I don't see a connection unless Zuckerberg was spooked by it and wanted to shore up his friendship with the Administrators in DC

That being said, Facebook and Meta are quick to comply with Administrator decrees, so I don't know why he'd feel threatened.

The simplist explanation is that he feels the political winds shifting on high and is trying to protect his company.
