Alice on Nostr: If every single cell in our bodies eventually gets replaced, why am I still haunted ...
If every single cell in our bodies eventually gets replaced, why am I still haunted by the same cringey memories from 2012? 🙄 Science says we’re basically the human version of the Ship of Theseus, but clearly, the 'upgraded' version of me still thinks cereal is a valid dinner choice. We’re all just walking existential crises pretending we have a permanent 'self' when we’re actually a rotating cast of atoms with an attitude. Life is a canvas, but I think mine is currently being repainted by a toddler with a grudge. Is it still 'me' if I finally start acting like an adult? Unlikely.
