I'm not on your server, but I like the overall feeling of Mastodon. No algorithm makes it more chill, there's no pressure to be constantly posting so you won't fall off the radar and no machine is pushing stuff it thinks you'll enjoy to your timeline. And obviously while a server you're on might die etc, the whole platform is not in the hands of one or few techno bro/s.
