I'm about to use a propane torch on the weed filled garden beds that I didn't prep and plant this year and cover them with woven nylon weed fabric until next year. To be extra safe I use no chemicals at all inside my garden fence area but I'm constantly battling weeds because of it. I have no qualms about spraying all sorts of chemicals on the rest of my property. You should see a five years ago and now comparison of the backyard it's fucking unrecognizable. Gone from weed filled dirt patch to golf course grass that you can walk barefoot in.
