We have all been stung many times at this point, often on fingers and toes. Lately, my wife has been getting large welts from the stings. Yesterday morning, she got stung on the finger while she was sleeping, and the swelling has just continued to worsen throughout yesterday and today until most of her forearm looks like it belongs to a different person. She can't bend her fingers or put them together, to the point that I've been doing things for her. I am getting worried. I think she might have developed an allergy to the venom.
