I really don’t think this is a sensible suggestion; especially since the BBC is so politicised and continues to polarise and alienate people with biased programming. Continual platforming of Farage/Reform, scandals around sexual predators to name just two issues. I pay my licence fee, but am wondering if it’s even worth it for the two BBC programmes we watch in any week - namely Repair Shop & Silent Witness. I’ve given up on BBCQT, and all the political programmes, even the BBC news.
