The hacker culture has always been about transgressions, but the more we defined ourselves against something the more we lost the ability to define ourselves in support of something else. We forgot how to imagine our way out of complex problems!
Despite creating some of the most collaborative projects on the planet we never learned how to tell stories of working together, praising the efforts and learning from the dramas. We kept our dreams small and fragmented.
