⚡️🇫🇷 NEW - The 2027 budget was rejected by the National Assembly by a vote of 458 to 0, and two crypto-related measures passed by lawmakers were also scrapped:
1) Mandatory reporting of self-hosted wallets holding €100,000 or more
2) Taxation of crypto-to-stablecoin conversions
In practical terms, nothing changes for now… but this is a reprieve:
The bill will go to the Senate in its original form starting November 20, and these measures can be reintroduced until the final vote
The battle moves to the Senate
