Death penalty should always be avoided. There have been far too many mistakes, and no person, or group, should wield the power of death. Not only for mistakes, but for the risk of corruption.

Looks like the shooter may have had a sponsor, let's make sure those people pay the same price, should we discover them.

Was this a profesional hit by a well trained individual? Possibly, but if only for the posibility of learning more in the future, I'd want him kept alive.

Who knows? There may be links to powerful individuals, domestic and/or foreign.
