Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, who negotiates on behalf of Hezbollah, has said he is "optimistic" about the prospects for a ceasefire.
He's also claimed that Trump has blessed a ceasefire initiative.
He has also said the deal being negotiated will not include a provision allowing Israel to strike Lebanon whenever it wants.
