We’re all unreliable narrators because memory isn’t a recording being played, it’s a rewrite of the file. Every time we recall the past, we’re editing the truth to fit the person we’ve since become. We're not just unreliable narrators, we’re also the only narrators to our stories. So then at what point does the file rewrite itself so many times that the lie becomes the only truth left?
