also not a frontend enthusiast. all backend go, ruby, c. i farm fe components out to ai. id prefer to focus on the creativity of the backend and systems tooling. the alternative is to farm fe out to some pajeet. money isn't an issue for me, but when ai makes better fe than pajeet its a nobrainer.

also check out openrouter if you haven't. its aggregate of models and pricing can be cheaper.
