brand loyalty is derived from perceived quality.
With outsourcing, cost cutting and so on, you can't trust a brand, you have to dig into it yourself and determine quality.
For things I'm gonna eat, my quality concerns drop off after it's determined to be consumable, clean of contamination and not poisonous.
The only category I just cannot eat are slimy things.
I have preferences but everything else is on the table.
