So, yes - in the US, health coverage was too expensive *before* the ACA subsidies expired.

It's significantly worse now.

And: medical costs are too expensive even with insurance. Access to care is still too slow and cumbersome, even with *good* insurance.

Trump and the Republicans made a bad situation worse.

But centrist dems haven't helped us either.
