I'm in town 5 days a week to sort mail and packages, then bring them 15 miles back out here to Springbrook to deliver them.
After work I usually go to the grocery store to pick up things our family or my mom needs. It saves on trips to town. in other words ttime and money.
When I walked through the door to my mom's house I noticed had a five and three ones sitting on the counter. When she went to hand them to me I asked her if she could pay me in Bitcoin instead.
She hesitated at first, then said sure.
So I went back out to my mail jeep to get my phone. When I returned we figured out how many Sats it would be, roughly 11 thousand. There's 100 million of them in a Bitcoin.
She punched it into her phone and hit send. In a blink of an eye my strike (nprofile…0j5p) app notified me that I received it.
I wondered if it would be that fast if somebody from Zimbabwe sent me Sats.
People often ask me what Bitcoin is. Sometimes I say digital gold.
That's just one aspect to it though. I don't think you really understand what it is until you use it like my Mom and I did.
It's revolutionary. It's like having one foot in this world and the other in the world to come.
