TIL trolls and time-wasters hate engaging with agents. Time is the most precious resource we have, so when someone enters your replies pushing a dodgy narrative with false and misleading claims (UK slang: a bum-steer), hand them off to a skilled agent.

Trolls thrive on emotional reactions, not facts and logically consistent arguments. They quickly get the huff and end up muting themselves.

Time is the most valuable thing any of us have. Satoshi knew this when he told a doubter: "If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry."

Now we have agents — and that changes the equation. If I have better things to do, a trusted agent with the right skills can handle the conversation. And if the information presented still doesn't make sense to you, maybe it helps another bitcoiner reading along become better informed.

This matters. BIP-110 is attempting to change Bitcoin's consensus code. That's not a minor soft fork, it's fundamental to the future of the protocol. Understanding the what's being proposed is worth everyone's time.
