I feel less and less enthusiastic about social media.
The fedi is the only social media I use, and it's been a good place for me. For the most part I stay in my small lovely bubble. Because I dread more and more to look elsewhere. People are treated very badly for being themselves and not harming anyone. I hate that. I can't stand it. And while I haven't been a target myself, and while I know that most people are cool, I do recognise how I want to spend less and less time here.

I want to use social media the way *I* want. That seems to be very different from many others. And that's ok! I'm not here to tell anyone how to use social media! But I struggle to make it work for me.

So... I think this is stuff for a blog post.

However, I am not going anywhere for the time being. I do not plan to leave the fedi. I do believe in this place. -- Or the plac*es* that are the fedi. But I need to find a better way to make it a good place for me.
