When I worked at the steel mill 50+ years ago, they were having a tough time getting us youngsters to wear our safety glasses. So one day, the dragged us into the conference room to watch a film about how they dig steel slivers out of the eyeballs. Even i looked away with a churning stomach but I wore my safety glasses every day, every hour for the rest of my working life.
