I still recommend artix over arch for PCs, just because you can get xfce bundled and configured.
I hear that arch has made major strides in the install but I don't tend to do USB installs anymore so I'm not sure what that means.
https://archlinux.org/download/ doesn't seem to indicate it's that far, at least.
