that #bluesky works like #twitter is a massive advantage, especially now that platform has grown beyond a liberal echo chamber to encompass a lot of different interests.

I like #mastodon a lot, but I think there are big hurdles in adoption, especially for lesser tech savvy folk. And even if the tech nuances are not an obstacle, things like not all responses showing from all servers, clicking on a profile to follow but it on a different instance, etc. are big hinderances IMV.
