If that’s the case, it would be fun (waste of time) to see if the direct quotes in the article were real and actually said by anyone. The open source maintainer who was the target of an AI’s rant saw this in an Ars Technica piece about the incident. Because his blog blocked AI agents, AI authors couldn’t read the site to actually see what he said. No worries, the AI Ars author just made up quotes and said they were in the blog post. This AI agent might have done the same. As long as it feels newsy it must be news, right?
