Ripper Magoo (npub1nfa…rjl3) spent some hours today on my openclaw.... I tried running LLM's local on a dedicated Ubuntu box i5-9500 3GHz with 16GB ddr4 no GPU.
Every small model I tried would go max CPU for 10 minutes until I killed the process. This was simple (what is 1+1) type questions.
I went to Gemini 2.5 flash and hit the free quota after about 3 queries.
I already have Google Gemini Pro (got a free year with phone purchase) so I don't think I'm eligible for the $300.
