Well, at this point removing the internet would require such a huge social and economic change that it would probably cause a civilisational crash anyhow.
Even cash wouldn't survive: The monetary systems underpinning it are all dependent on the internet now anyway. The physical coins and notes might survive but confidence in the currency would be dead.
